Default No clicking from the solenoid

I have a 2004 club car precedent. I did not here any clicking coming from the solenoid.... It was suggests that I change the controller. I change it last night and got the same result. The cart won't move. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you test the solenoid?

I pulled the two small wires going to the solenoid and measured with a volt meter and it read 29 volts and it never changed. I read that it should change to the full battery pack which is 48v

How else should I check it.

Disconnect the small wires and run a plus and minus from the battery pack to it and see if it clicks. MCOR is the throttle, it is the electrical version of a gas pedal.
Be careful when testing not to short anything out, if necessary remove the solenoid completely.

Scott,

I pulled the solenoid out of the cart and disconnected all the wires. I hook the battery pack to the two small terminals and it clicked. I checked the two big terminals and it had continuity between them. So the solenoid is good. Here is where it gets interesting.

After I reinstalled it and turned the key on the buzzer was on in reverse but didn't click or move. When in forward it clicked and moved forward. When I let off the gas the buzzer came on in forward and reverse. And then it wouldn't work in forward. I turned the run/tow switch and key off and repeated and it did the same thing. Worked the first time in forward but didn't work in reverse and once I let off gas pedal and the buzzer came on again. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help

Looking at the 2003 schematic, they did some crazy stuff that year but looks possibly the MCOR could cause that. I need a 2004 schematic if you can find one.

Few questions, was the cart working and suddenly stopped? Was the cart modified in any way?
Solenoid works, controller was replaced. lets start with the MCOR, there are stickies on these, I think it will help test it.

Got the schematic, thanks.

I posted the 2004 diagram in your other thread.... The forward problem that you described sounds like the "Solenoid drop-out circuit" problem.
Check the diode on the Tow/Run switch wiring and make sure it is not shorted.
