Default lift installed, steering problem

I installed a Lift kit (not jakes but it was free) and now my steering is messed up I can't turn sharp right but real sharp left but when I unhook the bar that comes out if the rack and pinion will go all the way in.

Default Re: lift installed, steering problem

Adjust the tie rod that comes out of the steering box to the steering arm. Disconnect the tie rod at the steering arm. Put the wheels straight ahead.
Spin the wheel hard right. Make note of the steering wheel position and count revolutions as you turn it hard left. Now, counting carefully return the wheel half way to center position. Now look at hooking it back up. Make what adjustment is needed. Re-connect and test .
