Re: G1 not turning over
Man, not sure where to have you start. Look at all of your wires for loose connections or broken/cut wires. If there's nothing suspect, get your voltmeter/test light out. At your coil, you should have power on one lead, ground on the other. If you do, you can check for spark off the coil. If no spark, it's either the coil is bad, or the magneto. Sometimes the CDI can be bad, but deal with that last because they are not cheap. Usually it's a bad wire, bad ground, or bad coil.

Re: G1 not turning over
Right....so better do as much investigating as you can. Just to let you know, I have lots of used G1 parts, including ignition parts. But I've never shipped overseas, I'm sure it's expensive. Just an option.

Re: G1 not turning over
Is there any way to test the 2 stroke oil injection system is working?
I would hate to run my fresh rebuild without oil |

Re: G1 not turning over
I don't know of any way to test it. If you are unsure if it works, then don't use it and premix your oil. In the service manual the specs on the oil injection system says that it mixes between 150:1 and 300:1 (many do not believe this), and these carts last a long long time at these ratios. I have tried many premix ratios and I settled on 100:1 with a good air cooled synthetic 2 cycle oil.

Re: G1 not turning over
Cool, I got her running, one of the wires going into the motor was cut, joined it back up and away we go, the white and red one was cut.
Is there any info on here about making the G1 faster? |
