Parking Brake Problem With AUSCO Disc's Rear
My problem is parking brake on my 2007 EZGO TXT when on an incline, brakes will not hold with the brake on, the cart creaps back or forward slowly. I have adjusted the brakes from underneath. Do I need to adjust this more, the adjustment is tight now. I also thought maybe the cables are worn and need to be replaced. They are the original 2007 cables.

Can you post a pic of the underside of your cart where they connect?

There are good instructions in the service manual in the stickies on how to adjust the pedal and the "parking" brake. Might also look at the compensator. Though these are for drum brakes, they may help.

I will check that and see what I can do. When you talk compensator, is it the main return spring assembly

I'd have to look it up to be sure I'm not using the wrong term, but there is a device that is a strong spring that holds the parking brake. It is the only thing that has any slack in the system.
