cc ds series cart 9 mph top speed
I have a 01 ds series cart with new battries it will only run 9 mph and is low on torque under staled load battery voltage only drops to 47.5 v with no load it is 49.5 v the cart also will slow down on hills also does anyone know how to check the accelorator to see if it is sending the proper signal

9mph, that is smoking!!!!!! Are they brand new batteries? 49.5V's is only a 70% charge. Charge your batteries and see if it helps. New batteries take several charges to break-in. Read the sticky at the top of this forum.

they are 6 months old they will charge up to 50v I had been testing it for a while it does not matter if I have just takin it off the charger it still only will run 9

6 month old batteries should be in the 51-52v range after a charge. What speed did the cart do before the new batteries? 9 mph could be about right if it's on speed code 1.

I bought the car 1 month ago with new battries so I only know what it is doing now the revers shitch is a lever it is ok is their any way to test the controler output or the throtle switch

Open up your V-GLIDE and make sure the wiper arm components are clean, making good contact and move from lowest contact point when at rest and goes to uppermost contact point when accelerator is pressed to floor . . . do this in addition to resolving your battery charge situation . . .

Yes . . the V-glide (multi-step pot) can be tested with a VOM . . read thru this thread:

Mine has a different switch I think with 2 plugs also can you test the output of the controller
