I Really Need Some Expert Help!
Alright, as most of you know I had a bad experience with my last Alltrax DCX 400. Everything was hooked up according to the manual. So...... I am not sure I what could have gone wrong. Can somebody please post picures or diagrams exactly how it should be wired up on my 2002 PDS 36v cart? Everything from rocker switch, key switch, charge receptacle, motor, controller, solenoid, resistor and diode so we don't have another incident. Thanks

Does it matter what order everything is hooked up in? Also just to try and get it all running does my controller have to be programmer for my bandit motor initially?

Re: I Really Need Some Expert Help!
That is a good question for PQ. I would like to see them post the answer on the board for all PDS owners to benefit from.
As far as order of wiring? Just be sure the run/tow switch is in the off position until all the wiring is complete ~ wait 30 seconds and flip to run. |

Okay. If anybody had an Alltrax PDS controller pictured all wired up I would much appreciate it.

Re: I Really Need Some Expert Help!
That doesn't show the solenoid wiring but helps with the others. I'm just scared of making another one release smoke. Are the red and yellow wires supposed to go on the same small terminal?

Re: I Really Need Some Expert Help!
This is the PDS stock wiring diagram, The solenoid wiring does not change when upgrading to 200 amps or 400 amps or 48 volts. The solenoid is wired as the original diagram regardless of amperage or voltage. As I've said before it has no polarity. The 2 small posts are the activation or coil circuit. This circuit has no polarity, only the diode has a polarity. These 2 small terminals require pack voltage to activate and connect the large posts which are the switched circuit... I hope this helps there are colors noted on the original wiring diagram
