81 club car rear axle oil question
I am working on a 1981 36v club car. Trying to figure out how to check the oil. I have two allen drains at the very bottom a square I hope it is the vent at the very top about mid way up the side of the motor facing the rear of the cart. Then on the driverside right below the axle tube I have another one which allen I hope is the check level. I pulled it and fluid ran out I put a large coffee container under it the ones that are like 6" round and it put about 1" of fluid in it. So as long as I did this correct the guy must of just over filled it. I am not for sure if it is a a original rearend but hopefully buy telling the location of the plugs someone can identify it.

Re: 81 club car rear axle oil question
Okay well I called a couple golf cart places today and finally talked to someone to tell me that the allan screw under the axle tube on the driverside is how full it should be.
