Default onboard charger with onboard honda generator

I am kinda wondering if I could pull this off. Is it possible to drive your cart while its charging via a small portable generator.
I found this small honda eu1000i that might sit perfect under the rear seat. It only weighs 30# and is 18x10x15inches and will run all day on a gallon of gas.
I only ask because i am using my 48 volt cart for hunting and some of the spots i go to are in excess of 7 miles each way. I have new batteries, but im afraid to get out there and not get back.
Do you think i could charge it while running?
Heres my charger too,, its a 15 amp

The cart will draw 50-70amps running and the charger can help a little but not enough.

My Cart will not move when it is plugged in. But it would be a great way to charge Ur batteries while U R in the woods or at the Grocery store if they wont let you plug in.

How about some solar panels on top maybe that would help with some amperage while running and charge the batteries when U get there.

The 1000i Honda will not likely run your charger, you will need at least a 2000i to do the job.
Th 2000i will put back 1/2 of what you use at cruising speed.
If you cruise for an hour it will need an additional hour of charging to bring them back to full.
You would also have to defeat the charging lockout switch if your cart is equipped with one.
