Default Fuel Pump

Can you use a low pressure (1-2.5 psi) electric fuel pump instead of the vac pump? Will it damage the carb or flood the cart?

for some odd reason I have been asked this question probably 100 times in the last 2 mths.

That should be ok. Any more pressure than that and you'd need a regulator though.

I've done it with a standard electric lawnmower pump and it works fine - I've also *heard* that even a high-pressure pump works as long as you install a "T" after it and one side to the carb and the other to a tank return line
