Default Turn signals

I am ready to buy a turn signal for my 06 ds cart. Question is, should I use the 7 wire or 8 wire model. My cart has headlights and led tail lights with the brake lights, and tail lights hooked up. I know I will need a special flasher for the led's. Any and all help welcomed.

You will only need a 7 wire turn signal unit and YES you will need a special flasher electronic unit for LED lights so they will work correctly. If you already have tail and brake lights you shouldn't have any problems hooking turn signals in. What are you going to use for a 12 volt sourse, battery taps ( POOR IDEA ) or battery pack converter? If battery converter be sure that you have enough amprage as I have found some turn kits overload converter causing poor to none flasher operation? Many converters are only 10 amp or less output and depending on loads you may have to upgrade to a 15-20 amp unit? With your LED lights you should be able to get by but if problems come up converter may be cause?

OLD MECH,
Thanks for the advice. I have a 48 to 12 vdc power reducer. It is hooked to the whole battery pack, so it pulls from all of them. I will check the amps out, didn't think of this, thanks for reminding me.
Have a great day.
