Default Noob Question about Danaher Controller

Picked up a 2010 RXV timecapsule to turn into a hunting rig. Been stored since pretty much new, but took it a local shop for batteries and a thorough checkup to get me off on the right foot. They ran diagnostics etc, to make sure no hidden issues but he asked if I wanted any programming changes while they had it. Told him it was going to be used for hunting, so speed didn't concern me, but he recommended a slight torque bump. No extra charge so why not. Anyways, loving the cart. Taken it on the steepest hills around my house and it never slows down....BUT....it only goes slow....lol. I'm sure it has a fleet controller being a full blown golf cart down to the white body and bag carriers, but it tops out at 11-12 mph period. I thought even the fleets were 14-15. Can the controllers really be set that low, or do I have issues from the get go? Thanks.

Yes, speed can be lowered well below the standard "fleet speed".

I think it can be set at 5 different levels between 7 & 14mph. Those speed estimates were based on stock sized tires. Larger tires will cause actual speed to be higher than reported by the controller settings.

Dropped by the shop and 5 minutes later shes in full Freedom mode. Way more speed than I need. Acceleration from stop not great (almost a soft start) but I'll learn to live with it for now till I can justify a Curtis or Navitas upgrade

It's pretty straight forward with the conversion kit.
