I'm reading this and little shocked and confused. So you got 4 connectors and paid a dollar shipping?

I don't understand why someone would give something away that is basically a dollar store item and then ask for a dollar to ship it. Is the dollar that important?

It's simply a character issue for me in the sight of other concerns that have been brought to my attention.

Did you see my thread in the ezgo section? In it I explained he paid nothing, even though shipping was @$2.65 and the brown padded envelope was @.50 cents at walmart.

Lmk if you need the usps tracking # and receipt for verification.

I am confused as well. I thought this was a joke? I've got buckets full of these things. I wouldnt feel right asking money for them... especially from folks on here!

To recap - an item was offered with the price (free) and a shipping cost ($1.00) detailed up front. Transaction was (apparently) completed - items were sent, apparently at a loss, to the person that wanted them. It doesn't look like the shipper or buyer have an issue with the transaction.

4 terms for a dollar? It would cost more to drive to purchase them than a dollar - can anybody really complain about that price? Well, apparently people on here feel the need to.

Others not involved with the transaction didn't like the terms to the deal and made negative comments about it.

So, someone that offered an item, provided the item as promised at the pre-determined terms to the receiving person is getting their character bashed - BY OTHERS - for the transaction?

SERIOUSLY?

As to the "free information" - if you have something worthwhile to contribute that you feel you need to be paid for - set a price UP FRONT for it and let the prospective buyer choose if they want to pay for that info. (if that doesn't violate the vendors clause in the member agreement) That's how people with good character conduct business - set the terms upfront and stick to them.

I guess I'm just as guilty as others for commenting on a transaction that didn't involve me, but IMO the character issues aren't with the person that provided the items as promised at the price negotiated. I know posts like this seriously will make me think twice about who to do business with from here.

EvilSpirit1 LOL at your post, don't see where anyone got bashed, not sure why you posted, your way off base. The moral to the story is. NewBuggieBoy has received hundreds and hundreds of dollars of FREE help here at BGW buy the great members here. And I was laughing about him wanting a dollar to ship some connectors. That's pathetic, even if it cost him 5 dollars. I guess he never heard of paying it forward. That's My 2 cent. There was no need for this thread in the first place that I see, but here it is. NBB seems to blow a lot of things said on this forum out of proportion from the post I have read. Well have fun all. NBB can't wait to see what you post next.

ZZTOP - the transaction between NBB and Racer-x was just that - between them, with no outside approval or commentary necessary. Your comment about how others conduct business is what seemed to generate more posts here and elsewhere. You offering your opinion about something that doesn't affect you in the least is what led to all the other comments. After that, I'm not sure why a simple sales transaction that required no outside intervention would shock or confuse anyone, but since spriddle runs the place he certainly has the right to comment as he sees fit. IMO there was a simple successful transaction that for some reason others decided to nit-pick and criticize, something which unfortunately seems to be way too frequent in todays forums and could be described as being . . . in poor character?

As to info being shared on this or any public forum - many people offer help, others ask for it - kinda the spirit of forums. Not sure exactly who gave NBB all the information that he should be forever indebted to for it, but then again, conversations about being compensated for that knowledge is something that should be between NBB and them, and not be a concern of others. Feel someone is all give and no take - don't offer them info - QUIETLY.

Hope this post amuses you.
