Don't hear solenoid clicking, but cart runs fine.
Would everything work fine if the solenoid were welded shut? I have an Alltrax XCT in an IQ cart, and there are no error codes, and the "relay status" indicator on the monitor screen in the toolkit software appears to be turning on and off appropriately - but I'm not sure if the controller is actually measuring this or just indicating what it is trying to do.
I did add the diode on the small posts recently, would that have made the solenoid click more quietly (or stay shut)? If everything looks fine in Alltrax am I just worried for no good reason? |

A diode would not prevent the sound. Put your hand on it and "feel" it engage and disengage. If you still cannot tell, take your DVM and put it across the large studs and you should see ~1.0 to 1.5 vdc. When it closes (or if it is closed now), you will see 0 vdc.
