FE350- how to find out if it’s a D or G-
Have a motor apart and trying to put a new piston on the rod- no data plate on cover

What year is the motor? Or what year cart did it come out of?
As far as I know the piston and rod orientation are dependent on rotation direction. There may be some casting numbers on the block or a date stamp on it somewhere that could help to ID the year/series. I don't know enough about those motors to give a definitive answer. |
