Default 1991 3pg EZGO carb question

Installing replacement Carb on my 1991 3pg ezgo marathon. I forgot where the gasket goes. In between the choke cable bracket and the carb or in-between the manifold and choke cable bracket?

I am also looking to track down a manual for this machine that will not cost an arm and leg. Does anyone have a good source for online diagram or manuals?

You'll need a gasket on both sides of the choke cable bracket

When I took it off it only had one. Would that create any mechanical issues?

Also when ordering gaskets do you know if they typically come in pairs or do you need to order two?

Without one it could suck air resulting in a lean condition, running lean means it'll run hot. Running hot is a big enemy of any engine but especially bad for an air cooled engine........

If you have a new one then just order one, If you're trying to use a used one then order two and don't re-use the old one

Also make sure it’s a good OEM carb. A cheap one is unlikely to work well.

OEM carb is not $50. You can buy a new OEM carb from ezgo for $190
