Default Help me figure out how voltage reducer is hooked up

How did this other guy install this voltage reducer? The black looks like it's going to the controller I assume but the positive looks like it is only picking up 24v. There's another connection on the main positive battery post and I did unhook the other and put it on that connection and the lights still work and turn off when unplugged. I just can't figure out why the positive is on the #4 battery instead of #1.

And are you sure there is a reducer? It looks like he wired up the light kit directly to the batteries. Where is the reducer located? The yellow bullet connector ground is connected to the light kit harness it appears.
Here’s how it should be wired- 48V positive from pack into positive INPUT into reducer. 48V input GROUND connected to the BULLET connector headed into the OBC. 12V OUTPUT POSITIVE connected to either a fused bus bar or if you ONLY have a light kit connect it to the blue light kit harness wire. 12V GROUND output from reducer to ground buss bar OR if you only have a light kit to the ground wire from the light kit harness.

What are the yellow wires? Those would be going to the reducer I would guess. That said the correct way is listed above.

The 2 plugs by fingers are what's coming from reducer. It all ties in to the harnesses. I can't figure out where the harness going to batteries ties in with all these here at the dash though to try and trace wires

Everything works. My only concern is not drawing from the whole pack. Why that blue wire (red extension with fuse holder) is on a battery in the middle of the pack. If I connect it to the factory blue wire coming from the main positive post, the lights still work (I assume this is drawing from whole pack now) and if unplugged, the lights shut off. Plug it back to where he had it like in the picture, and lights come on again. It's definitely the power for the reducer. I want to just move it to the factory blue wire and be done with it if that's drawing from the whole pack like I think it would be

Keeper I can't tell from the photos, but are you sure you don't have an old factory 24-12 volt reducer in there?
