Default Bypassing OBC Headache

I've read several threads regarding bypassing the OBC on a CC, whenever I think I understand it, I see another thread with different instructions. What I have done is cut the black wire on the back of the OBC going to the DC plug, and ran it to the battery pack neg. Now Im reading to cut both black wires on the back of the OBC and but splice them together. So it seams the way I have it now has a wire running from the DC plug to the pack negative, where as cutting both wires on the back of the OBC and splicing them will in effect have the wire going from the DC plug to the B- on the controller. Am I reading this correct, and is there a difference either way? I also spliced the two wires at the OBC connector which from what I understand bypasses the interlock.

Club Car has used several methods of OBC "Controller Interlock", that is why you see different procedures.

For all types of OBC, running the negative wire from the charger receptacle to the pack negative battery post is mandatory.

You can either run the charger negative wire directly to the battery post or do the splice of the two 12ga black cables on the back of the OBC which will have the safe effect.

if You have an IQ or Excel cart, splicing the Blue and the White wires on the OBC 6-pin connector will by-pass the Controller Interlock.

Battery pack negative is electrically the same as the B- as the controller. That is the main negative cable, it doesn't matter which end you connect to.

I may just completely pull the OBC and sell it and the charger. Is there a market for them?
