Default Par Car year and potentiometer or speed control.

hi,
I have a par car serial # e-29652-d. i am looking for what i believe is the speed controller or potentiometer. it is the black plastic box that the rod from the accelerator attaches to. it has 2 wires coming out of the top, a gray pigtail out the side and there is a micro switch attached to it.. i was told it was a certain part number but, that part number looks nothing like what i have.. thanks!

Part for the pot box was 70061-00c which is now number CVG191404U. List price from Columbia is $540.68. It is a Curtis PB-6 which available much less elsewhere, and instead of the black box it's now a shiny all metal version.

Your VIN is missing a couple digits. Should be xEx-29652-Dx where the x is the missing digits. But with E in front, it's most likely the Eagle, and the D at the end shows it's from the 90's.

You could compare it to the 1996-2000 manual and it's most likely in there. www.buggiesgonewild.com/columbia-parcars for the manuals.

It could be either 5E-29652-D9 or 8E-29652-D9. 8E would be gas, so since you're has potbox would assume it's the 5E which is the XP+Series power system. 1999

What spot does the red and black go to on the microswitch? There is 3 total pin connections.
