Carbon pile load or hydrometer which is best
I have 2 golf carts and always have battery issues, my DVM doesn't tell me anything usefull about the real load capacity so I am looking at a HF 500 amp
carbon pile tester for $50 or a good hydrometer, which do you think would give a true battery condition. |

Clip your DMM probles on one battery at a time and drive it uphill. If all batteries are in the same condition, what is the voltage before and during an uphill run?

As suggested the cart is the BEST tester. A good refractometer will analyze the cell condition if needed.

Not having grandkids living nearby, I use a DVM with a Min/Max function.
