club car 36volt no go
i have club car 36v cart. cant tell what year but has the 5 selenoids with the coil wire resistor. battery pack is good. i hear the selonoids click when i hit pedal but cart does nothing. dont know what else to check . any advice appreciated.

You can jump the big posts of the first solenoid ( the one with no resistor on it) and see if cart runs.
That will then have checked, battery connection, F/R switch, Motor Very simple cart to figure out |

6 gauge cable, you can just hold it on the 2 big posts. Jack the rear of the cart off the ground

You do realize that you have to push the "go" pedal (cart jacked up) after you jump that solenoid to properly test...right? Your statement suggested you just jumped it expecting movement (but maybe I misinterpreted)

sorry for the last post. i made better contact with my jumper cable on the solenoid and the wheels did spin. both forward and reverse. what do i check next? or is a bad solenoid?

Yep - that main solenoid has failed - you'll need to buy a replacement (make sure the replacement is 36v). It would be nice if you purchase it from one of this site's sponsors.
