What is red and white wire for on voltage reducer
I have a 48 to 12 volt reducer that has 5 wires 1 red 1 black and 1 red/white wire and 1 yellow and 1 black does any one know what the red/white wire is for or what to do with it

I would think the red and black in the one clip would connect to the 48 volts and the yellow and black would be my 12 coming out I think I saw something on a sticker on it that said lockout ?

Are all the wires the same AWG size? On my reducer there were 5 wires but 2 were heavier/larger wires and they were for the 12 volt positive and negative leads to handle the 30 amp draw.

Yes those 3 are I just talked to a guy he said it could be for ignition off
