Default I cracked my G8 front cowl...

Yep- I did exactly why the title says. I ran into the back of my Club Car. And of course I can’t find another one. I’ve read her that a G14-G22 cowl will fit, but I can’t find one of those either.

Is there a way to repair this that anyone’s tried? I can’t really tell if it’s fiberglass or plastic.

G8 front cowel's are made of "metton". Same as watercraft hulls. Fiberglass (on the back side), body filler and paint is all you'll need

That’s great to hear. How difficult is it to remove?

easy to remove, 10mm nuts on the black cowl edge, the bolts where the windshield fastens and 2 screws behind the Yamaha emblem and we have lift off.
