Default Club Car Drive Axle Question

I have a Club Car Electric drive axle I am using in my off road buggy and need to make it wider. It "looks" like I could just take another "long Side" housing and axle and swap it out with the short side. Does anyone know if that will work, and does anyone have a spare long side axle and housing? The cart was a 48v, non resistor, series motor..I don't know the year. Thanks!

You can change the axle's and axle tubes to shorten or lengthen the total width.

I know this because I have just modified my DS unit to make it 2" shorter to fit in my old Caroche.

Contact David Hicks at Revolution Golf cars, he may have what you need:

CFECO,

Can you post some pictures of the drive unit so I can identify what kind it is?
