2008 Club Car 48V issue
I bought a 2008 Club Car 48v and the only way I can get it moving is if I play with the forward and reverse switch. I am assuming it is the switch, but wasn't sure if anyone else had this issue and found it to be something else.

Re: 2008 Club Car 48V issue
Usually it's very misleading but the F&R switch is rarely the culprit. The MCOR is almost always the problem. Put the switch in reverse. If the buzzer turns on you know the switch is working. If the cart won't run, look towards the MCOR. The MCOR (motor controller output regulator) is a black box mounted beneath the floor attached to the accelerator pedal linkage. It's purpose is to communicate with the controller and tell it when to turn the solenoid on and regulate controller output based on the amount of throttle applied to the pedal. When the internal microswitch fails in the MCOR it often starts as an intermittent problem, but gets worse with time. It sounds to me like that may be your issue. Post your vehicle serial number and I'll be able to help you further.

Thanks.. Look at this thread and let me know whether you have the Generation 1 pedal assembly or the Generation 2 pedal assembly.

Re: 2008 Club Car 48V issue
Gotcha. "AM293001 MCOR4 conversion kit" is the correct replacement part
