Question 94.5 EZGO Gas - Not Starting

94.5 EZGO gas does not try to turnover when the accelerator pedal is pressed. Charged & check battery (12.7v), cleaned terminals and check all other wiring connections. I do hear a faint click when the accelerator is pressed (accelerator switch ?)

What else could I check? If the starter is bad, how could I check to verify. It seemed like the engine was a little sluggish (like a weak battery) a few time when starting the last time I used the cart. I washed the engine compartment a week ago, not sure if water played a part.

many thanks

Possible solenoid problem. Check also your ground wire especially the A1 of your starter gen.

check and clean all connections- batt, solenoid, all the small wire connectors, check the fuse at solenoid they get dirty, key switch try unplugging it and jump the connection, key switches terminals get loose and corroded all the time and if its original 16yrs old its something you should replace anyway.

You have a disconnected/faulty wire.
