Default General Maintenance

As I put in my introduction post, I am now the owner of my first golf cart.
It was purchased to ride around campgrounds. It is a 2001 Club Car.
I would appreciate any helpful advice about general maintenance and upkeep.
I would also appreciate advice regarding the best sources to purchase parts from should that be necessary. I also need to purchase a manual for this cart.
Thanks to all that can give me advice and guidance. Bill

Check above for best parts sources under http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/site-sponsors.php

As far as maintenance goes , keep everything clean and tight, the life of the cart is it's batteries so read

Stay out of lakes , rivers and oceans , sparkys don't like to much water

Welcome to the board. Nice looking ride. Be careful though, this site is addictive.
You can probably download a PDF form of your manual at no charge. You'll probably pay around 35 - 90 bucks for one to set in your bookcase. No thanks.

Club Car very closely guards thier manuals with copyright laws... they are not available to download without paying for them...

Thanks for stepping in there Scotty. That is exactly what I thought. That's a rip that you can't get the CC in PDF as well.

Thanks for the info. Have printed the battery maintenance page...thanks for posting it.
I have just finished doing what you recommended in regards to cleaning and checking batteries.

I have not found a manual to download and am debating whether to order one or just wait and see if I would ever need it.

I want to check the brakes next just to make sure all is OK. Any information regarding this task would always be appreciated.
Thanks to everyone who is helping me along ....Bill

Note: I launched Space Shuttles for nearly 20 years...you would think I could figure out a Club Car...with help from all of you....I am sure that might happen!!
