How to hook up 12volt charger with 36 volt charger to charge 48 volts
I have a diagram from this site showing how to hook up 2 additional 6 volt batteries to move to 48 volts on my 05 Ezgo Txt series cart. My question is how to charge the two additional batteries with a 12 volt charger. From the diagram it looks like I am going to need to modify the way I currently charge the 36 volt cart. I have a new controller and solenoid going in but need to understand how to charge the new batteries. I really would like to use the existing charger as I do currently and hook the 12 volt to the two new batteries. Once again, from the diagram it appears you series the last two batteries with the first four and hook the 12 volt charger to the remaining two vs. the two new batteries.
I am cheap and want limit my cost for this conversion. |
