Default Electric Club Cart - Battery Light Flashes

We replaced all the batteries on our Electric Club Cart, ran it for a day, and then plugged it in to charge. The battery light keeps on flashing. The vendor we bought the batteries from said they were fully charged. We took the batteries back, and the vendor said they were still fully charged. The battery light DOES not flash when we run the cart, only when we go to charge it. This has never happened to use before. We have had the 1997 model about 10 years.

welcome K. new batteries come only charged approx75% thats why you need to brteak them in the right way, if your dash light light is orange it could be flashing a diagnostic code........so when it starts flashing afain try to see if theres any pattren to it....if so we,ll then need to find out what its trying to tell you................................

I don't know what cart you have, but I had the same problem with my 2006 club car and the fix was in the software. I had version 2.0 and club car had went to 3.0 because the system was telling the charger it was fully charged when it really was not. This cause my light to act in the same way as you explained until the software was updated. Just a quess....
