I'd sell the engine or use it as parts.
Might cost more to swap the crank out.

Ebay has cranks from 35 to 75 dollars, I would check there. I am going to be using the same motor in my G2.

Been watching ebay but haven't seen nothing yet but the one I need should have a 1in shaft right.unfortunately I can't afford a new engine.so changing the crank or having it shaved is all I can afford to do right now.thanks for any an all advice

Yea I believe the 1 inch shaft is right, I havent got mine yet. but I have seen them on there.

Keep me posted if you run across couple because I really stink on a computer an if by chance I stumble across some I will do the same.just not exactly sure what I'm looking for yet.sorry to sound stupid an ask all these questions but I hate getting my butt kicked.any an all help is appreciated, thanks

It is for a Vtwin, but a vertical shaft motor. It would need to be modified to work in the horizontal shaft motor.

i would like to say thank you to 1989marathon an hookm,what great guys!!!!i got to meet hookm in person an he took alot of time out of his day to show me his set up an give me some advice on where to start on my cart.now for 89 dont no where to start,he has already bent over backwards for me.i found out that i had bought the wrong v-twin it had a tappered shaft,thought i was in big trouble then i got in contact with 89 who told me to calm down an send him my crank he would be more than glad to turn it an cut the key way in it for me.so since then i have sent him the crank he took care of every thing an had it back to me quick!what a kick a.. dude!since then we have stayed in contact an he has help me find alot of parts an answered alot of stupid questions from a newbe.both of these men i already consider great friends an look foward to meeting alot more great people!!the knowledge these two men have is remarkable an they are always willing to help no matter how dumb of a question it might be!great forum an great people!thanks again 89 an i hope i get the chance to meet you in person!if you ever get to north myrtle beach,sc or any where close the cold ones are on me!
