Default D-379 Motor

Anyone have experience with this motor. A local cart shop has a used one for $450...sounds $$ for used, but they said on a lifted 48v CC
DS it would get 27mph and more torque. A larger controller is needed of course, but is that a good combo motor for speed/torque. I'm only familiar with the 380"Bad Boy" or the "Beast" motors, this is neither. Any info. much appreciated.
