jerking as soon as pedal is pressed
ok here is the prob cart jerks badly as soon a s the pedal is pressed doesent seem to be a half speed swith bacause the car operates corectly besides the fact that it is very jerky.
it has a vglide with a controller and thought ? could it be one of the resistors on the vglide wiper switch and anyone with a wireing diagram for the forward reverse switch or know where the half spped resitor is located? thanks you guys have been great |

Re: jerking as soon as pedal is pressed
How about some history? What all did you change during the conversion? Was it working well? If so for how long? ..... then when did the problem start? Like that so we are not in the dark.....

Re: jerking as soon as pedal is pressed
i changed everything needed to convert to 48 volts
the controller the solenoid the baterys and changed the vglide from 0-5k to 5k-0 as well as added the negetive feedback wire to the vglide and it was jerky as soon as i did that it was also jerky befor as a 36 volt cart just not as noticeable because of less power. |

Re: jerking as soon as pedal is pressed
do the small resistors on the vglide go out and jump to the next speed?
that is kind of what it feels like it jumps over the slow speed and right to half speed |

Re: jerking as soon as pedal is pressed
We were looking for more specifics like what solenoid... what controller ....what change from 5k to 0k? .... the CC are all 5k-0???? ....we might find a problem here? WHat is the V-glide output when tested for the full throw of the peddle? Wht is the output? In ohms?

Re: jerking as soon as pedal is pressed
the 36 volt controller is 0k to 5k and the 48volt controllers are 5k to 0 and the soleniode is a white rodgers 48 volt the same used in a yamaha
i will check what are the readings suposed to be at full rest and at full input? |
