Re: How to short out coil to kill engine
set it up like a go ped.. find the field or positive side of the coil and ground it.. run it to a momentary switch

Re: How to short out coil to kill engine
It looks like the positive side is going to the igniter and my fear is shorting out the igniter.
There is a brown wire that goes to the igniter it looks like it is coming our from behind the flywheel cover. I was going to short it with a momentary switch but was not familiar with the igniter and was worried that I would short it out. Should I be looking for an additional wire coming from the coil? I have looked everywhere for a wiring diagram for the Kawasaki engine but can not find one. Any help appreciated. |
