Any differences between 1976 and 1979 model D carts?
I am working on a 1976 D and found a 1979 D parts cart. Are the parts interchangeable on them?

Yes parts are the same. They did small changes to things but engine and clutches stayed the same.

The starter/generator may have changed and they dropped the spring loaded belt tensioner for the same.
