Default 1995 EZ GO TXT - Gear Oil Recommendation

I'm working on my 1995 EZGo TXT cart and want to change the gear lube. What is the general consensus? 30W oil or 80W gear oil? I plan on using synthetic either way.

Same here! its what its made for.....so many times WE modify our carts and or just use them for things they were not truly designed for....so by upgrading things as simple as the lube in the rear end....it can potentially prolong the life of the gear set and bearings. and when you think about it...what would really be the cost difference to do something a little extra.
