Default Spindle vs A Arm Lift overall height difference?

Example: If you put an All Sports 6" Spindle Lift and a 6" All Sports A Arm lift on the same make/model cart with the same size/make tires & wheels will the overall height be the same?

I'm trying to fit a lifted cart in my garage and need to know if one type lift is higher than the other even though they are both advertised as 6".

You should probably poll people with the same make/model and ask their overall height. I didn’t even think about getting into garage when doing lift and tires. Luckily...dumb luck, when it was done it just barely scuffs the weather seal when pulling into the house! You are smart to look at this now!

You guys got me worried now. I didn't even think about that. I ordered a cart with a 6" lift on 14" wheels with AT tires. Hopefully it fits. I have a new construction house and my 2013 Honda Pilot with slightly taller tires fits in no problem. I don't think the cart should be taller than that.

To answer your question:
Yes, a 6" lift should give you 6" of lift with the recommended tires and wheels. Tire and wheel combination has a huge bearing on the "overall lift height" vs "listed lift height". If you use the tires and wheels that are recommended by the lift mfg you will get the "listed lift height".

Regarding the roof height:
Its a common problem that lifted golf carts don't fit in the garage. Most older homes have a 7' garage door height. Newer homes might have a 7', 7.5', 8' garage door height. It's important to measure it because it can vary.

Alternative solution:
Many people have installed a device on their roof supports that allows it to be dropped down quickly for storage and transportation. If I remember correctly there is a company or two that make these brackets, but I have also seen a few members here who have made them themselves. Basically you have some brackets on the roof supports that have a pin in them. Remove the pin and the brackets fold forward, reducing the height of the roof by like 8" or more. Pretty good modification.

I understand that it should be the same but is it?

No way to know ahead of time. Unless you find someone with the exact same cart, exact same tire and wheel combo, and exact same lift. Even then there is some level of uncertainty because of manufacturing.
