Default 2in rear lift or heavy duty springs?

I added some factory size all terrains to my 2016 electric ezgo. It has the rear seat but other than that it’s factory. I’m getting some light rubbing on the inside of the tire tread. I’m thinking about lifting the rear 2in or a heavy duty spring or both. What are your thoughts and would I be better off to just do a front/rear 2in lift?

Well lifting the rear only will give you a bit of rake. If you like that look it should work fine. HD springs will lift it some, but it will make it ride really rough. You could install some air shocks, that would give you just the right amount of lift based on the air pressure, and you won't get a super stiff ride, although it will stiffen it up some.

Thanks for the reply.

I’m trying to find the happy medium of a slight lift and not sagging too bad with a couple adults on the rear seat

I like the idea of air shocks. Do they offer a simple lift block setup for the rear?

Did you happen to find a lift block? I have HD springs and still rub so I'm wanting a 1 or 2 inch lift block also.

I think you can get lift blocks. Measure the width of your leaf springs and do a google search. Look for that width lift blocks. I think they are 2" wide? With single locator pin?

You'll also need longer u bolts. Most trailer hitch type places can make u bolts.

Here's a pic where someone made their own.
