1980 EXGO motor shorted to frame
I'm converting a 1980 WESTERN with GE motor from resistor to controller. While testing things I find the frame carries about 10 volts when grounded to battery negative. I've isolated everything and the culprit is the motor. When the motor is disconnected from battery plus the frame is dead. Is this a problem or a non issue?

Not an issue. For me at least. There's a thread or 2 on it
