Are all DS steering columns the same?
I want a shorter steering column on my '94 DS. I've searched BGW and I'm comfortable with how to do the project safely. I want to use a steering column off a parts cart so that I can leave my current column in place until the shortened column is ready. My question is can I grab the steering column out of any year DS and be confident that it will fit in my cart?

It looks like all above 1992 are the same...older than that...seems to different based on the info I could see. Only for DS series.

I've heard that the CarryAll column/shaft is in fact shorter. TahoeDawg would know for sure...

The Limo column is shorter. Part number 1017313. It's about 2 inches shorter than a DS column and is a direct fit.
