thanks for taking interest in the build, doesn't seem to be to much interest in it
No problem man, we all have to start somewhere and i'm by no means an expert at it. And I just remember, keep the wire short (like 1/4" - 1/2"). Long wire will also cause lots of splatter.

using these switches takes the place of using valves and solenoids. it is definitely the cheapest and easiest route to go.

Thx for the kind words I frequently drop in to BGW to see what builds are going on. I am enjoying watching your progress.

1sikcart…

Keep up the good work

Remember, I had zero welding experience when I built mine as well. Just go for it...

oh, and don't forget about a limit strap on the front. Don't want that steering to disconnect at speed...

yea i still need to work that out, i think i might just go with a heavy duty coated chain and cut it to size. i won't be able to get as much lift in the front as i would like due to my steering shaft already being cut. I'm trying to avoid buying a new one.

Why don't you just extend the steering shaft to get the extra lift safely like I did? Its not difficult, and you have all the tools you need to do it. Just don't put it together backwards like I did the first time

I might also suggest you look into wire rope and wire cable clamps. It probably won't make as much noise as a coated chain, and since it's a little less flexible there's less chance that it may accidentally interfere with the suspension.
