Tire Pressure?
Hi All,
I have a lifted Club Car 4 seater. On it I have 22" Sahara Classics. The tire says 5 psi max pressure. If I have 4 people in the cart the rear tires appear to go flat at that pressure. How much pressure can I really put in them without harming the tire. I use this cart primarily on the streets with some mild off roading. TIA Randy |

Re: Tire Pressure?
Use the chalk method of inflation.
Fill it up good and then draw a line across the tread portion of the tire. With the expected weight on the cart, drive it in a straight line so as not to roll onto the sidewalls. Gradually deplete the pressure until you just wear out the chalk line across the tread. You then have the perfect pressure for your use. Record the final pressure for future reference. Hope that helps a bit. |
