Default What was I thinking????

So I was super happy with the lift kit I just fabbed up and installed on my G1. I was pretty proud of myself that I it was all finished and I could work on the body now but as I sat there and admired my cart the other day I noticed something. It looks awfully close to the rockers when I crank the wheel all the way one direction. I currently have the stock wheels and tires on it just so I can roll it around the shop and some new 22" and 10" wheels will be my last upgrade as I roll the finished product out. But by looking at it it seems that I was probably supposed to move the front forward some to clear these, I just dropped everything straight down. I didn't copy this lift kit (obviously) and I am now looking at others pics and relizing I probably have to move the front forward some to clear the new treads. So I guess I am posting this hoping someone will tell me I am wrong....

Working on getting some pics around to show you guys should have them possibly tonight. Another question though, Do you have to run wheels spacers when going with 22" tire and wheel set?

If this is what I'm thinking, its nothing a handheld grinder won't take care of on the rockers. I've had to trim several on G9's and G16's.

Yep, try trimming the rockers but if you didn't move the front forward, I don't think 22's will fit.
