Re: G1 surging after shot run time
Many times, a cart stopping then starting again after it sits a while is due to heat. The cart heats up and something fails. Once the failed component cools, the cart runs again.
I have seen a few of different electrical components do this on a G1: 1) There is a relay on the passenger side rear wheel that intends to delay the cart from starting quickly when switching between forward and reverse. This relay can be jumped by simply joining the white wires on either side of the relay. 2) CDIs can fail when they overheat and run again once they cool. 3) Solenoids can fail and stay closed when they are too hot as well. |
