2009 club car over heating
I have a factory stock 2009 club car I just replaced the batteries in. It works fine but after a while it over heats and shuts down.
Where should I look? Do I have a bad controller? "its the Black one" |

Re: 2009 club car over heating
First thing put the Run/Tow switch in Tow...then check the battery connections..."overheat" is usually heat from poor conections/corrosion...
Don't go "gorilla" on the connections...you can easily strip or break the battery lugs... Check EVERY connection from 1st battery in pack, thru the pack, and on to the solenoid and controller. With a Digital Voltmeter, check/write down TOTAL pack voltage, and each individual voltage..... This will get you going on info to report back.... |
