Default Transmission for early 90s DS Gas?

Thanks for all of the insight.

I am in the process of converting an Electric DS to a Gas Frankencart Monster!

I have a 750 cc liquid cooled Kawasaki motor that I am going to use for the power plant.

Couple questions...

1. Can I simply bolt a "Gas" Transmission to the differential on my Electric DS to begin the conversion to gas?

2. Where are the best resources for finding High performance Drive/Driven Clutches, Belts, Rear end parts, gears etc. etc.
