Reason I ask is cause I think you got some good mph going on with stock parts other then the HD solenoid. I have the same setup as you, and would love to duplicate what you have going on there for top end speed. Would save me a ton of money in the process. |

I upgraded all wires to 4g. Not even 2g. They r the battery wires and they go through the wall to the motor.

It slows going up hill and with 6 people on it. That's why I am going to upgrade the controller and possibly motor. Nor torque under a heavy load

In case anyone is wondering how the LED lights work on a spartan body with the light kit, I would say it's fantastic.

Now that the exterior is complete, it's on to the controller for more torque. Looking for about 25mph but lots of torque. I'm still torn between the Curtis and Alltrax.

Re: 2003 Club Car DS Refurbish/Upgrade/ Official thread!
I like my 1268 500a Curtis. No, I cannot program it with my cell phone, [don't have one of those either] and actually will prefer to borrow a handset to tweak it a little this summer as it would take a looong cable to hook it to the computer in the house. No resistors or diodes to dick around with on the solenoid either. But I guess I am the oddball/knob here as Alltrax's are specified in the 11th commandment.
