Default Ignition Key

I can't believe that no one has mentioned a solution for the ignition key which is the same for ALL Club Cars. To secure my expensive cart, I would like to have a different switch/key. What do I get?

Until I find the " Round-to-it" for a barrel s/w, I installed a kill s/w to keep the grandkids from being carjackers.

Can't believe? Why even bother when absolutely all it takes is to connect two wires together! I could teach my wife to hot wire then cart via the phone if need be.... If you want to protect your expensive cart then you need to hide a special switch somewhere that cuts control power.

But since you ask for a special switch here you go...

Or... just push it away!

I have a Club Car "Uncommon" key switch... but your best bet is a chain and a really good padlock if your worried about it!

Exactly the best anti-drive off devise I can think of is a 1/2" stubby wrench in your pocket.....

Just take the shortest battery cable with you and no one is driving off with your cart....

wanna bet ?
someone who wants a cart and knows carts will carry a 6g cable, a 9/16~ 1/2" combo wrench, and 2 nuts in their pocket
i have a set in my cart all the time

as i have posted before a skull key set is great

I'm sorry CTD I don't see any keys in that picture.....

And as you just stated if somebody who knows carts wants your cart then you just as soon leave the key in the ignition for them....
