2007-6 passenger Villager charging problem
Our church has a 2007 Club Car 6 passenger Villager. All 8 batteries are new. We plug the charger in and it kicks off in about 15 min. The 6 batteries under the second seat are all charged to the 6.5 v. range. The 2 batteries under the front seat are are testing at 4.8 v. To 5.5 v.
We borrowed another charger and it kicked off in the same manner. It has a Curtis model 1520-5501 500A controller. We have checked all connections throughly. Any ideas? Thanks, Robert |

Your batteries aren't being charger. Either something simple like the main neg cable not going through the hole in the OBC or an OBC reset, up to a bad OBC. Have you had any work done on it lately.

Re: 2007-6 passenger Villager charging problem
The 2 batteries that are low, power the lights. They are out of sync with the rest of the pack. You can bench charge them or you can charge them still in the cart using the main charger, but it takes some time to do.
