Dual rear axle
Sorry if wrong area.
Has anyone done a 2 rear axle setup or point me in the right direction, I have access to several EZGO gas models and was considering something different. |

Re: Dual rear axle
Thanks for the welcome and the pic. His site has no info.
I was thinking the back axle drive might work by being chain driven with a idler to keep tension. |

It would be very simple to put the same size sprocket on both shafts. With the clutch on the outside of the front sprocket. |

Look up the drive systems on the older JD Gators, sounds like what you are thinking of....

Read here:
That axle isn't driven it's just trailing back there. |

Re: Dual rear axle
What would be really cool is have 1 axle be gas driven and the other be electric so you could pick the one you wanted to use

Re: Dual rear axle
That would be cool but it seems like it would also be heavy as hell with both electric and gas set-ups onboard.

Re: Dual rear axle
Also forget to put it in tow mode and ruin it when on gas.
