Default 2022 Icon I40L first electric cart

Long time lurker, first time poster. Just purchased a 2022 I40L, Gotta say for the price you can't beat it compared to the big name carts. Brought it home Saturday 10-16-21, put about 40 miles on it so far crusing the hood.

I really only have one question so far, Can I leave it plugged in/charging all the time? I have purchased DI water and a battery filler. I already adjusted the head lights still a little high, gonna take it apart and shim the headlight buckets to angle them down.

yes you can leave it in charging all the time. do not fill the batteries before you charge as with a watering system everyone tends to fill them all the way up vs. just above the plates as intended.

I have the hand held battery filler, not the crazy hose system.

First post for me also here, so gonna piggy back on Jason’s bravery. Looking to buy an Icon I40L but have some concerns with the height. The spec sheet says 6.5’ tall, but I have seen others post 81.5”. My garage opening is only 81” so really need to get this right before purchase. Can anyone confirm height or even better post a pic showing height being measured? Thanks in advance!

Your specs are correct- the factory is 6.5 but the dealer can lower the roof to about 81.5 (this is the lowest I've seen and what my i40L was lowered to). Anything lower than 81.5 will make the roof height for passengers in the rear too low.

Can you set your garage door to slide back higher giving you a little more room? Some other people have mentioned deflating tires but I haven't tried this route.
