Default big block golf cart build (link to many pictures)

As promised, Tom, here is the information on the build of the black e z go golf cart FAST BLACK. (big block engine for the e z go golf cart). One year in the works.

Attached in the body of the post is the link to webshots for the project of the big block engine golf cart "FAST BLACK". Much of the consulting about this project was done with Tom via phone at Carts Parts Plus. If you are truly looking to build a quality golf cart, Tom and his wife Jill at Carts Parts Plus has all the answers. He will steer you in the right direction with his candid advice about your project.

I started this project with a rusty frame and ended up buying a new frame. Built my own disk brake set up; you will notice I have wheel cylendars on the rear brakes. Everything works like it should. Built my own vanguard engine. Project is almost done, as you can tell by the last photo of me on the cart at the Douglas Drag Strip in Georgia. The cart runs 12.478 in the 1/8 mile at 50 miles an hours. A little bit squirrely at the top end. I will be replacing the front end with an independant front end from Tom.

Enjoy the pictures and post any opinions.

Hmann aka Fast Black
